Episode Transcript
[00:00:01] Speaker A: Hello, dear heart. Welcome to the Flourishing Practitioners podcast where we talk all things about space holding, caring for our clients and succeeding in our businesses. We explore the wisdom from coaches, counsellors and healers.
My name's Gabriel Walker and I'm so honoured that you're here.
Let's dive in.
[00:00:23] Speaker B: Hi, Divine Spirits. I'm so excited to share this episode with Erica Allura. She's a healer in the channel and someone who has a really, really unique view on healing and clearing energy.
I've had sessions with Erica across the last seven years and I love her wisdom. I have experienced some really profound shifts from the sessions that we've had and sometimes I think we think about healing as a certain way and it's really nice to hear perspectives from people from different countries, different spaces, different ways of thinking and modalities.
At the end of this podcast has a meditation or a clearing for us to listen to as a group. It was channeled through and worked on for us and those who will be listening now and into the future.
So, yeah, if you want to skip to that, please do. Please stay on for that and I'm also going to pop that onto a separate episode so that you can listen as well on your own if it really resonates with you to be able to listen again.
But let's dive in.
[00:01:32] Speaker A: Hi, Divine Spirit. I'm so excited to share Erika Allura with you. She is a healer and a channel, a person who has a really unique view on healing and clearing energy.
She has been a healer of mine, gosh, at least for seven years, and I love her wisdom and I was so excited to share her way of being with you. Sometimes when we get into the healing space, we think of healing as one way and it's really nice to meet people from different places and different spaces and ways of thinking and modalities. The end of the podcast has a meditation or a clearing for us as a group to listen to at around the 45 minute mark. So let's dive in. Hi everyone. I'm here with Erica Allura. She is a healer of mine. I've worked with her, gosh, over many years and I've had really beautiful and significant changes in my life from the work that we've done and it's subtle but powerful in many ways, so I really appreciate that. I wanted to share you with my community and ask you questions about yourself and your work. And to be honest, I didn't know that much about you because I just followed the energy of going towards things. So when I was Digging in. I was very curious about how are you?
I'm excited to see you.
[00:02:56] Speaker C: I'm excited to see you. How have you been?
[00:02:59] Speaker A: Went for a massive walk with Puppy Bear this morning. I don't always get that longer time in the morning, so it was quite nice to do a longer than normal morning walk. Now she's passed out.
That's great. Thank you for being here.
[00:03:12] Speaker C: Yeah, my pleasure.
[00:03:14] Speaker A: The question I normally start with is what's on your heart today? It doesn't have to be anything to do with your work. Yeah. Just what's sitting on your hat today?
[00:03:22] Speaker C: Well, we're doing this on the cancer new moon and one of the things that I've been working with in my community because I have a membership community where we meet every week for a weekly clearing and then we meet during the new and the full moon for a clearing as well. And one of the themes is really about slowing down and not putting so much pressure on yourself to have to be productive, productive all the time.
And noticing a theme in the classes I teach, but also through that communication with my community members, how when things get slow and when they settle down, a lot of times people feel anxiety. It's almost like, oh, unless we're being constantly productive and in action, it means we're falling behind. It means that important things aren't getting done. I'm not even sure what those important things are, but I should just stay in action. And so I've been really sitting with that for the last few days and just thinking about where I even tend as a business owner to put pressure on myself to be constantly working in the business, on the business, all of the administrative stuff and really looking to give myself far more permission to kind of. I like the word luxuriate. Just kind of a luxuriate in the morning, in the day, giving myself permission to take naps. Here in the US we are in.
The summer is oppressively hot right now. I'm a little bit north of Denver, Colorado, and it was like almost 100 degrees today. Really, really hot.
And so it was like, yeah, this is just a time to relax, to rest, to listen to the body and just noticing the noise that comes up around that. And so I love the idea of clients membership, community, but myself to walk the walk and really give myself space to just to rest, to, to listen, to feel into where my body is. And what does my body want? What does my nervous system want?
And it's most definitely not being on the computer all the time. So that's what I've been thinking about lately, for sure.
[00:05:55] Speaker A: I love that. It's actually very in tune with where I'm sitting with things. I've been thinking about stepping away from teaching as much, mainly because of the online piece of it, not the teaching per se. It almost dampens energy in a way at times.
[00:06:10] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. I'm missing pre Covid time period where we would meet in person for classes. And most definitely, of course I can meet in person with students for classes, but so many people now say, oh, we could just do it on Zoom so I don't have to travel. And I'm missing that in person connection for sure.
[00:06:33] Speaker A: When I was walking this morning, I was listening to a thing that said you have been studying metaphysics since you were 15 and that you were quite psychic as a child. Is that true?
[00:06:44] Speaker C: It is true. Actually, I started more around 13. I started really young. I was just naturally drawn to it. I don't remember being psychic as a child, but my mother used to tell stories all the time about how I would run up to her and tell her that my aunt was here and she'd say, no, Erica, your aunt, she's not here. And then she would drive in the driveway. I do remember as a child having a lot of dreams that would come true the next day in real life and a lot of psychic kind of dreams like that. But I was very sensitive and my mom, like I said, would tell lots of different stories about situations like that where I would predict things.
I was very drawn to metaphysics and spirituality really started early.
I read a book by a woman named Diane Stein called All Women Are Healers.
And that really was a catalyst for me. It was like, what's this thing called healing? And what does that mean? And in the book, she talks about all of these different styles and modalities of healing and. And I just was fascinated with it.
That sort of set it off. And then I started to study tarot when I was 14 and started to do professional tarot readings and had a little bookstore in Florida where I would go to their psychic fairs and they gave me my own little table.
And I was very confident.
I think back, like, wow, I was so confident. I just like, I can do this. And people would come and I would do readings and I learned a lot about people and about tarot and about how to do readings and continued to do tarot readings all through college and even after.
And then eventually I thought, I have to do something. I have to have a real job, a real career. Because at that time I just didn't think of it as a real job. Like, I have to do something. And so I got involved in corporate world.
But everywhere I went, people would just ask me. Co workers would just ask me questions about their life. What do you think about this? And I started just doing readings anyway. I think people just have a sense about you. Then they would ask me my opinion about a new boyfriend or a new girlfriend or what do you think about this? It's like the more I resisted it, the more it kept coming up in my face. And what happened for me was working in a corporate environment. I was living in Boston, the East coast of the US and in the mornings on the subway, I would start to have panic attacks to the point where I'd have to get off the train and sit on the side on the platform and just collect myself.
And I realize now that that was really my being, my body saying, what you're doing is not in alignment with who you are. And I eventually went on vacation to visit my mom, who was still living in Florida, and woke up one morning and I just heard this guidance. You have to go to this bookshop, the psychic fair, this bookshop.
And I told my mom, okay, we're going to this bookshop. I guess. Let's go. She's like, okay, let's go. And we walked in, and they were actually doing more than just a psychic fair. It was this open house with all of these healers in attendance. And you could walk around and speak to the different healers. And when I walked in, there was a woman just pretty much right in front of the door who was having a conversation. I was immediately drawn to her and started to talk with her.
She didn't really tell me what she did, but I had such a strong feeling about her. And I took her business card. And it was a full year later when I came back to Florida again on vacation and had a session with her.
And she became my first teacher for healing.
When I left her home after my first session, I felt so different, Even physiologically. I felt as though someone had put contact lenses in my eyes and I was seeing everything more clearly, even just physically.
And I started to work with her. I went back into my corporate life and started to work with her one or two times a month. And every time I would work with her, something good would happen. Something would shift in my life for the better.
And I just knew this is the work that I was meant to do. I loved doing readings. However, when you do readings over a period of time and you work with somebody over a Period of time, you find that people have these patterns of behavior that tend to play out. And so it might be that they got a new job, but all of a sudden, they'd have the same type of boss, or they would enter into a new romantic relationship, and the same themes would play out again.
So even though I was really bringing through great psychic information, it just felt like I wasn't affecting enough of a change. And it was really when I discovered healing that I thought, okay, this is it. I can actually make a real change in how people experience things, how they think about things, how they behave, and that will actually shift their life and their trajectory to be far more in alignment with their potential and who they really want to be, rather than being stuck in patterns. It was really, really exciting. And then, of course, as a healer, I feel like our job actually is to be working on ourselves. The fun part is working with clients, but our real work is to be working on ourselves. And so when you enter into that pathway of becoming a healer, that becomes your journey, your own evolution, and being able to hold space for people and being able to work with your own triggers, which can inevitably come up in a session, and how to navigate that. It was a really, really powerful initiation into this huge journey of transformation, which never really ends because we're always evolving.
[00:13:24] Speaker A: Is that the modality that you do now still, or did you practice another one after that?
[00:13:29] Speaker C: The modality that I learned from my first teacher, her name is Paula Schrader, is called Spiritual Response Therapy, or SRT for short. And it is a system of researching the soul records to release programs and patterns that someone's running that actually came from other lifetimes, other experiences. That was my first session with her, and then I went on to study another type of healing called theta healing, and that is working with the subconscious mind, working with beliefs as well.
Beautiful, beautiful modality. And for me, the two of them together, it's like a rocket ship to move someone forward. And I'm currently working on creating my own modality and hoping to be finished with that this year so that I can launch that.
[00:14:19] Speaker A: That's so curious. The last session I had, I felt a shift. It felt softer and more yours. Yeah, Like, I could feel the difference from the earlier sessions, and I wasn't sure how to ask about that, but it was pinging in my curiosity about, I wonder what that shift was.
[00:14:35] Speaker C: So all of those things become sort of a dance, and it's nice to be able to move and weave all of it into a session. And, of course, a Lot of that work really also opens you up to be a channel, someone who is receiving that information or that stream of consciousness, that guidance. And so it's a beautiful both modalities. Theta healing and spiritual response therapy are beautiful modalities to work with, even if they were for your own personal development.
I love them both and been working with them since I started in 2007 with spiritual response Therapy.
[00:15:17] Speaker A: I noticed in your languaging that you use the word remembering more than becoming a lot. Is that how you see this process of re remembering or with the past life aspect, or is there another?
[00:15:32] Speaker C: I do, because I think that a lot of our journey as human beings is coming into our physical body and growing up and being inundated with the beliefs of our parents, our family, our schools, other people moving through societal expectations, which can often for a lot of people, override their own innate natural intuition.
I see the whole process of healing work as stripping all of that away so that someone can really connect into the truth of who they are and actually live that.
It's really amazing to me how many people are so afraid of letting a lot of those things go because it's what has allowed them to feel close to others, to feel accepted, even unconsciously, to the point where we will take on or manifest illness, addictions, different types of negative behaviors, because it's what's quote, unquote normal in our family.
And unconsciously there's a belief, well, if I have this issue or this issue, then I'm a match. I'm connected to my family. Whereas what we would want is for someone to be connected to their family or their friends or their community through things like love or sense of humor or adventurousness. Right. Or, you know, mental intellectual contribution that often will sort of take on negative types of characteristics or ways of being or like I said, even illness as a way to stay connected. And it is unconscious, however, it can be released. And it's incredibly liberating to go through that experience as a client, but especially as a healer, to watch someone really flourish.
I've even had clients who have an idea of who they really want to be. They have an image of themselves. They can see it in their mind's eye, and yet they're afraid to embody that or step into it because of fear of being judged. I know that being from the U.S.
the culture here is we tend to be more individualistic, But I lived in New Zealand for a year in 2017, and it was so different for me because they have the whole tall poppy syndrome philosophy. There. And I really learned how pervasive that can be and how much fear, even to the point where I've had clients who are afraid to wear a certain shade of lipstick because what if people thought I was just up my own bum? And I just, you know, think I'm all that because I want to wear this lipstick? They're sort of dressing down like, you know, like the librarian who should be way in the back of the library, no one seeing them, and was like, oh, this is gonna be so fun to release this. And watching people really just decide that they're gonna be who they are. And to be able to support that through healing, it's one of my passions.
[00:18:47] Speaker A: I really relate. I grew up in New Zealand, and I think traveling, for me, was the best thing to get out of that. It's been almost a re remembering at times of going back to her. Her just, like, going around country clothes and trackies. But I really valued that opportunity to experiment with who I was. Moving to other countries. I remember when I did one, I don't know what year it was, but I did a semester at Ithaca College in New York, and everyone was so confident and always talking themselves up. And it was such a shock to my system. I was like, what is going on here?
Because, yeah, we're a little more downplayed in that aspect. I don't see either it was right or wrong, but that was a good balance for my tendency at the time to not own what I was good at and my talents. So it balanced it in a nice way.
[00:19:37] Speaker C: Right, because you could work with the two extremes, right? It could be, where do you feel uncomfortable about talking about your gifts and your talents, because that could be a real contribution to someone else. Then the flip is, like, why do you feel like you have to push and really show people and tell people who you are rather than just kind of relax and be in a natural flow? You don't have to market yourself 24 7. And so we have these extremes, but everyone lands someplace. And I actually tend to be quite introverted, so I get both.
But things like the irrational fear of a lipstick color is what. I just find that so intriguing.
[00:20:21] Speaker A: So, like, what's really behind that?
[00:20:24] Speaker C: What's really going on? What's gonna happen? And so, yeah, it's fun. And absolutely. Working with people from different countries is fascinating. I work with people all over the world, including women who are in Egypt or Qatar or places where we, you know, may tend to think of women as incredibly oppressed. Even women from these regions find me Somehow. And it's. I feel like it's my little contribution in the world to help really shift consciousness and help these women feel empowered and seen and heard and loved and to reflect back to them their magnificence. And that is such a gift.
[00:21:08] Speaker A: How has it felt for you to step into being that channel, in a way of that consciousness?
[00:21:16] Speaker C: It has felt like probably the most at home I ever feel is when I'm doing that work, because it's exhilarating.
It's like surfing a wave and you're in a flow state and I don't have to think about it. It's not a logical, linear process. It's actually a process of relaxing and opening. And often it will feel as though I'm actually with the client, listening to what's coming through. I hear it the split second before I say it and sometimes I'll even say things.
And it's not until I say it that I get present to what I've just said.
And that's really fascinating. Really, really fascinating. So, yeah, it feels exhilarating and natural.
And of course, it's over time that I've realized that it's accurate because you don't always know. And when you work with somebody for the first time as a healer, you of course want to do your best work and you want to be accurate. And when I'm coming through with the stream of information, as I'm doing this energy clearing work, and someone says, yeah, everything you're saying totally resonates. I can't believe how accurate this is. It's the best.
Because I would never want someone to sit there and think, like, I don't know what this lady's talking about.
So when you get that feedback, really, whether you're a psychic, a channel, whatever it is that you're doing, when you get that feedback, it's like confirms for your own subconscious that you're on the right track. And then what ends up happening is you receive even more information and more information. And that's really how the modality that I'm creating really came about.
So, yeah, I love it.
[00:23:17] Speaker A: What pinged you to create your own modality? And was it like a pressure or did it naturally emerge?
[00:23:24] Speaker C: It was a pressure from the guides, I call them my guides, or the beings who are working with me.
And it was, okay, this is what you're doing and this is where you're going to start in sort of an intellectual, rational level. It came from feeling like there were some gaps in the spiritual response therapy modality. So it was a modality that was channeled, created by a man named Robert Dutzler, who was a universalist church minister.
And a lot of it is rooted in and Christianity, which is fine, it's very beautiful, really loving. But when we're doing past life research, a lot of what he has on his charts in terms of the cast of characters is rooted in a lot of spiritual, religious lifetimes. And I found over the years that more secular non religious lifetimes are coming through for people. And so I see a gap with where I'd like to really fill in more secular experiences. So that was the start for me of the seed being planted of like, how would I do this?
And then what happened was that sort of opened up the dialogue and the channeling and I would hear, look at this book, research this, read this and just follow the directions. Sometimes it almost feels like paint by numbers because I feel like my guides already know what it's going to be. And I'm catching up every day and following along and then testing it out, trying it out, applying it and seeing how it works. And it's in the laboratory and so far it's been really fun. And clients are saying they, they feel the difference with it, which is even more exciting.
[00:25:15] Speaker A: Yeah. Beautiful. And this is a curiosity for myself. Do you know your human design type?
[00:25:21] Speaker C: Yeah. Generator.
[00:25:22] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:23] Speaker A: Here. It's interesting. Yeah. I was always curious when I'm talking to people, I'm like, what are you doing?
[00:25:30] Speaker C: I really don't know much about human design, but I've had so many friends who are so into it. We've got. I've got to do your human design. I still don't really understand it, but yeah, that's what it is.
[00:25:41] Speaker A: I found it at a time when I was had made some really key decisions and I didn't see anyone making them around me. And then that system explained some of them. So I was like, okay, I resonate. So then I looked into it more and I was like, okay, cool, that makes sense. I'm a projector. So when you were talking earlier about the marketing or talking out loud, it's more about letting things come to you rather than making things happen, which we all do anyway. But more so for my type. And I really, really see and feel in my body the difference when I'm in more of a push energy than a receiving energy. Something I was curious about, which was random was around the travel because you've mentioned so many places, places there where you're being drawn all over. Like have you just followed where you need to be like, geographically.
[00:26:27] Speaker C: I feel like I could be a professional mover at this point. I've lived so many different places.
Of course, the US is a huge country, so you can live in a lot of different places. But I grew up in the Northeast, so I. My first 14 years were in Vermont, like northern Vermont, which like very close to the Canadian border. And then all the way down to Florida and then Boston. I've lived in California, I've. I live in Colorado now. I've lived in New Mexico, all over the place. And then of course New Zealand. So I've been moving quite a bit. I had a psychic once that said, oh my gosh, your guides are telling me that you've really been on a roller coaster. They've really taken you on this whole weird.
I'm excited about the idea of being rooted in one place for a while, but there's always part of me that thinks, am I really rooting in or is this, am I leading up to another move? I have no idea. I just have to wait and see.
[00:27:31] Speaker A: I had a astrology reading once and she said I was a pilgrim and that was part of why I was so travelly. She was like, the energy will be petering out as you get older. And I've definitely noticed that where I'm more like, hey. So it's like, I want to be still now, whereas before you couldn't keep me still. I needed to move all the time.
[00:27:50] Speaker C: Yes, it definitely helped with building up the faith in my intuition.
Going where I'm told to go. Go here, go there. Look at this place. Take a left, take a right. You know, just following my guides, it's built up a lot of resilience. It's built up real openness to experience myself and go through change and transformation. I feel like different places have a different chemistry with us, just like different people we have a different chemistry with.
It was helpful in the journey in certain places, like when I moved to California, to la is where my business really took off.
And the type of work I do in LA is an amazing match, really. So that was perfect. I don't think I would have gone as far as fast if I had been in conservative New England, northeast of the us so it was all purposeful. The other thing though is when you move a lot, it's a lot of energy.
And now it's like, no. The energy needs to go into working with clients and supporting my health and my self care so that I can show up in the highest and best way for my clients. And so this is a purposeful phase now as well.
[00:29:12] Speaker A: You've touched on it a little bit. But how would you describe what a healing is?
It's a word we throw around that we know what it means, but we've each got different approaches. How do you see it?
[00:29:24] Speaker C: The type of work that I do is really rooted in, in subconscious mind and soul based work. So sometimes people think of healing as you like you're lying on a massage table. Maybe someone's doing energy work with their hands, maybe with tuning forks. But this is a system of healing where I'm sitting across from someone or I'm sitting on zoom with someone.
They will typically tell me the areas of their life that feel stuck or limiting in some way, or where they notice there's a pattern that keeps playing out in their life. And essentially what I do is I start with a little prayer of intention, which is my way of opening up as a channel. And then there is an immediate stream of consciousness that starts to come through as though I'm being given step by step directions.
I'm using a pendulum and a series of charts, which is a way of both validating the information that's coming through, but it's also helping me to locate the, the specific energies that someone is holding. And so it's this whole process of again releasing the programs, the emotions, the beliefs that someone is holding that sometimes come from their childhood, sometimes come from their ancestors, sometimes come from past lives or collective consciousness, memories, and all of those what we call programs. Programs are basically beliefs that we have accepted so strongly that we no longer question them.
And so I'm looking at any kind of program or belief that is limiting someone that really does not serve them, something that they're holding that is coming from a place of fear or that's inauthentic to their expression, or maybe it's even a pattern that they've been playing out for so long that it's just, they don't need to do it any longer. They've got it, we need to wrap it up and release it. And so the process of, when I
[00:31:29] Speaker A: first came to see it was, was around relationships because was literally playing out the same pattern. And I felt like I'd tried everything in my own known healing capacity or psychology, counseling, all these things. And I was like, I know, I know better and I'm not shifting this thing.
[00:31:46] Speaker C: Yes, because when it's in our subconscious, our subconscious believes that everything we're holding is keeping us safe, whether it is positive or not. And that's the Tricky thing is your subconscious doesn't know whether something is positive or negative. It just knows that it knows how to keep you safe and alive with what you're running. And so when we get in there and we start releasing things, first of all, people feel different.
So I'll have people tell me they feel energies shift or move in their body or in their energy field while I'm working.
Sometimes people do have emotional release.
Sometimes they become really, really exhausted. I've had grown men in business suits in their office receiving a session and just pass out and start snoring in their chair because the healing is going so deep, they can't even consciously follow along. This is accessing them on a deep level. It's really fascinating. So the way that I think about it, again, is that I am releasing or stripping away whatever needs to go that is blocking someone from moving forward on their journey, moving forward in their evolution as a being, Whatever is blocking them from fulfilling what their soul wants to experience in this lifetime. And for me, often it boils down to releasing the belief that in order to learn and grow, we have to suffer and struggle and instead bring in the understanding that we can learn and grow through awareness, which is much faster.
Learning and growing through suffering and struggling.
Sometimes it is a contribution, but for the most part, it's incredibly slow and arduous. And often those patterns are rooted in trying to be virtuous. Those types of things can come from spiritual, religious lifetimes, or it can come from ancestral lineage, where it's like, well, this is just how we do it. We just suffer. This is how we do life.
And releasing that and giving someone the freedom from the inside out to experience life differently and to have real wins and to feel like they're able to be their truest self is really the blessing.
I just love it so much.
[00:34:12] Speaker A: Why do you think it is that our subconscious holds things? And do you perceive that there was a time when it didn't?
[00:34:20] Speaker C: Well, it's sort of like the hard drive of the supercomputer that is our mind. When I first learned Theta healing, for example, the woman who created Theta healing, her name is Vienna Stibel, what she would teach is that the subconscious is like 87, 88% of the mind. But now scientists are saying that our subconscious is more like 97% of our mind.
And that 3%, your conscious mind, it's sort of the driver of the ship. It's saying, like, yes, this is a positive belief, this is a negative belief. I like this. I don't need this we need the conscious mind. But you have to remember that for our first seven years of life, we're primarily in a theta brainwave, which is the most programmable brain.
So kings are in this very open, programmable, suggestible brainwave without the ability to discern.
This is a positive belief, this is a negative belief. So we're little sponges and we just suck everything.
And then we have to decide as adults, do I really want to believe this or not? And often we go through life not really challenging our own beliefs or not even really looking at what do I really believe about money? What do I really believe about my career? What do I really believe about my creativity or my artistic ability?
We just kind of default to whatever the ideology is around us. And I think that we evolved that way to survive because we survive in a collective. This way of living that we have now, where we're all in our own little individual houses and where it's just primarily two parents raising a child.
This is really new in terms of the history of human beings. We really are collective beings and are group oriented. And so that tribal way of thinking and being, it kept us alive. Here we are, we're sitting here proof that our ancestors survived, which is beautiful, but we want to keep evolving and realizing that, to really get in touch with who we are and to look at how do I really want to be and how was I trained and taught to be, and are these two things at odds?
Where's the middle ground or what feels right for me?
For me personally, I was raised by two people who were workaholics, who believed that rest was lazy, who were just work, work, work, work, work all the time, and also were trying to do what they thought they should be doing by having kids.
I watched my mom be just exhausted all the time to the point where she manifested Epstein Barr chronic fatigue syndrome. And I thought, I don't want to do it that way.
And so that, you know, just that awareness alone, it's like, what is. What do I have to believe and do to have that experience? But what do I have to believe and do to not have that experience?
And that's where there can be a gap for a lot of people. Because our family, our parents mirror to us how we're, quote, unquote, supposed to be. Or maybe it's so extreme, they mirror to us what we definitely should not do, but we don't really know what the flip side looks like.
You know, that can be a whole journey, just as an adult, to figure out, okay, how did I Grow up. What did I learn? Is that really how I want to be?
What does that look like? What is a completely different.
[00:38:08] Speaker A: I find that can be a big, almost not a bigger block, but where people get a bit, like, caught up or stuck. It's like they've done the healing on the actual trauma piece or the stuckness, but then they're like, what does that mean? I've got no models in my life at all. And having to turn those eyes on to be like, oh, there's actually a healthy relationship, or not all relationships are the same. That was for me. I had to start actually seeking out, are there any healthy relationships I would want around me? Not really, but I can take that bit out of that one. That bit out of that one. That was a really interesting process. But, yeah, I noticed that with others as well.
[00:38:44] Speaker C: I'm sure you've had experiences where you have a client and they describe to you maybe what their childhood was like or what early adulthood was like, and for them it's normal, and for you it sounds like a horror movie because they just. That's just. It just was normal.
So the process of working with someone and not mirroring back to them what Erica thinks, but tapping into the wisdom of their guides and tapping into the wisdom of their higher self and being able to bring through a real understanding about what they did experience and why and the root of where that comes from, but also being able to release the stuckness around that so that they can pivot and make a change is what is so powerful. I think about the work I was
[00:39:38] Speaker A: relating quite strongly when you were saying about your parent, your mum, having Epstein virus. I had a similar experience with my nan, Doug, when I was quite young.
And I remember sitting by her bed and just hearing. It was like I just had that clear audience of, she didn't have to go now. And it stuck with me, this different curiosity about what was that? The whole experience for me made me just ask different questions about why she was passing over at that time. So if I put myself in this pondering, one of the differences I noticed is like, I had a confidence in a way from a young age to be like, I can see that life is not what I want.
I don't know what the alternative is. So did you have a similar ish feeling or experience or was it a little different?
[00:40:21] Speaker C: I was lucky in that my mother was a very rebellious person.
She really instilled in me that kind of rebellious energy of don't just follow the status quo.
She was very mouthy. She Would tell people off all the time. And from that I learned to be more diplomatic because I learned like, oh, I don't want to come across that way, but that energy of rebelliousness and do what you want to do and don't just follow the crowd. That was instilled in me pretty early.
But I grew up in the late 80s 90s and I was a latchkey kid. It was practically being feral.
[00:41:06] Speaker A: I call it free range parenting. My parents were free range parenting because
[00:41:11] Speaker C: my parents were so involved in what they were doing. There is, I mean, honestly, there's a quite a bit of neglect and I really had absolutely no idea how to care for myself. When I left my family home, I had no idea what the hell I was doing, which was actually perfect because it allowed me to just kind of follow my intuition, follow things. But I really believe that we have these periods of, of time where we step into what's called our divine timing.
And so these are these important roadmarks in your life where you're meant to really do something. So where you go to college, when you first go to college, that would be a divine timing. When someone has their first child, that would be a divine timing. When you meet your soulmate or your partner, that would be a divine timing.
So for me, that experience of having the opportunity to try what I would consider a normal or traditional career path, working in a corporate environment and realizing this is horrible, I have to get out of this, My soul feels like it's dying.
What am I going to do? And following the breadcrumbs and trying different things, that was really perfect and allowed me to keep pivoting and trying things. And then going to Florida and meeting Paula and being in her first class and then that opening everything up, that was part of my divine timing. I was always drawn toward metaphysics, tarot, reading, astrology, different ways of getting to know oneself, basically different systems where you can really get to know yourself. Numerology I find really fascinating.
So I feel like that we have all of these systems where we can dive in and use it as a form of self exploration or getting to know our partner or family members or friends on a different level. So thank goodness for that. It was an interesting journey, but definitely not linear. And I don't really find that anything's very linear. I think that things are sporadic and we come back around and come back around. And so, yeah, it was a very interesting journey and a lot of moving as well.
[00:43:40] Speaker A: I have one more question that's sitting in my field and it's around Finding your pricing and the confidence to price and move pricing in different ways. I noticed that your pricing's changed a lot over the time and yeah, I was just, I was curious about that because I think it's such an important part for us as healers and then stepping into that and. Yeah, I wonder if you've got anything to say on that.
[00:44:02] Speaker C: Yeah, it's one of my favorite things is to help my clients who are healers really connect with the pricing that aligns with them.
So, you know, when I started doing healing work, I set my pricing where I thought it should be. I looked at what other healers were charging for similar work and thought, well, this is about the going rate. This feels ripe.
Once I moved to California, once I moved to la, that really changed things for me because first of all, it's expensive to live there and you have to charge a certain amount.
But I realized the type of clients I really wanted to work with were people in the entertainment industry, creatives, entrepreneurs, other types of healers, coaches. I realized those people have a certain amount of money that they're used to dealing with and the perception from their point of view is if I charge too low, they would not see the work as valuable.
So I worked with where I was and really built up my skills and my confidence. And what tends to happen for healers or coaches or anyone who's in the service oriented type of role is you find that you're doing the work and you're doing your normal schedule, but it starts to feel heavy and you even start to feel a little worn out and a little resentful. And to me, that's always a sign that it's time to raise your prices.
So I did.
And what I tell my students, and this is really the truth, is that every time I've raised my prices, I've gotten busier.
People think it's the opposite. People think if you charge nothing, you're just going to be, you know, inundated with clients. But it's not really true.
We're socialized to understand that the more something costs, the more valuable it is.
The other thing is being in LA and working with people in the entertainment industry.
It's also about exclusivity and it's about the perception and it's about status. So there would be clients in la, like, this is my healer.
It's almost like I sort of became like the speakeasy healer, where people would say, like, this is my healer. And they would say, erica, is it okay if I share your information with this person, I said like, yeah, it's my, I'm running a business, please share it with anyone. But it's so funny. People kind of want to gatekeep, which it's really lovely. It's a compliment actually. But I just learned that, look, hey, if this is the type of client I really want to work with and that for me, it's people who are impacting others.
So people who have a big impact on others, even really high level coaches who have a big impact on others. For me, those are very exciting clients to work with. People who are in the music industry, those are really exciting clients to work with.
They're impacting others, their consciousness is impacting others. Even the people, the groups of people around them who are serving them and helping them with their mission. It impacts everyone.
So that was, that's really what I wanted to do and it was really exciting. So every time I think I'm outgrowing my. I would just feel into it. I'd ask my guides and they would say, yeah, it's time, this is it. And so I would just do it. And like I said, I would just get busier.
So everyone has to decide who in their practice they would like to serve. I have students who want to really only work with moms who want to help moms, help families, help children. I have other students who are healers that want to work with people who really living alternative lives, who really want to buck the status quo. Everyone has their niche who they would like to work with. And that's beautiful, that's perfect. But I've just followed my own intuition and that's how it's gone for me.
[00:48:27] Speaker A: I asked you to do a clearing.
[00:48:29] Speaker C: I would love to do a clearing for your listeners so that they can experience the clearing work. Because it doesn't matter. When someone listens to this, they will receive the healing.
[00:48:42] Speaker A: I would love that.
[00:48:44] Speaker C: So what I'm going to do is I am going to angle my laptop so that you can see the charts and the pendulum and what I'm doing over here, what I'm working with.
And let me ask you, is there anything, when you think about your listeners, are there any themes or anything that would be important or beneficial for me to focus on?
[00:49:12] Speaker A: I do feel that some of the themes that have come through so the confidence, the owning, pricing, like being able to actually make a living out of what you're passionate about. A theme that comes through with a lot of people I talk to is that balance between what they've learned and then knowing their Own intuition. So those are the things that come through, I guess, on a personal level, I can feel my tide shifting currently. So I have this sense of like, I hope everyone that's learning from me is okay with those shifts, whatever needs to balance there, because I can feel the change happening. So, however, that's it. Finding their own way of their own things. One more thing that's been coming up a lot in sessions, which was pinging. It's like where people have a wound and they're almost not able to differentiate from the client and them. This has been a pattern recently that I'm hearing from people.
[00:50:07] Speaker C: One thing that I would love to say about pricing is that, like I said at the beginning, when I first started my practice, I kind of looked at what other people were charging and did something similar.
And later what I realized about that is when you set up your pricing or create your pricing based on what other people are charging, what you're actually doing is creating or setting your pricing based on other people's money blocks.
Because people choose their pricing based on their own comfortability.
And one of the things about healers is that we have a real tendency to have resistance to receiving.
And we want to give, give, give, give, give, and we can often feel guilty about receiving.
But when you are really able to allow yourself to receive the support that you need to thrive, how you show up in your sessions is so much more powerful.
How you embody yourself, your spirit, your being, when you're being really supported financially is so different.
So one of the things I love to work on with my healer clients is letting go of this broke healer energy.
And for me, it's very similar to the idea of, like, the starving artist or, you know, the broke artist archetype. It's like, no, we gotta get rid of it. It's not serving anybody.
So no one's gonna give you an award at the end of your life for struggling and suffering and receiving less.
So let's change that for everyone.
So let me start with a little prayer of intention.
So I would like to call upon and invoke or bring forth the very highest vibration of source energy, which is to step into the hearing that I remain neutral and clear on behalf of this community.
And so it is. So the first thing I'm going to do is put a bubble of love and light around me, around Gabrielle, around her listeners. I want to know if I'm working with myself listeners, high self, or both.
[00:52:29] Speaker A: Both.
[00:52:30] Speaker C: How long will it take to apply what's called the prep to work list to me, myself, listeners, their high self committees, let's apply it now. So high self committee would just be another name for your guides, the beings who are working with you.
The prep to work list is just a whole laundry list of things automatically cleared for you and the beings who are working with you. So links and beings and myself are listeners. So some listeners have too many beings on their team. And what happens with that is there can be. If there are too many beings, it will feel like there are too many cooks in the kitchen trying to guide you. And what people will tend to experience is a lot of paralysis from analysis or wake up and think, okay, I'm definitely going to go this direction. And then a few days later they think, oh wait, that doesn't feel right anymore. And it's because they're. There's too much guidance trying to come through. So we want to streamline everyone's team. So let's clear, move, replace, elevate, educate anyone's team. We want everyone to be minimum size for maximum effect.
And so links and means, myself for listeners. So we look at listeners, physical body, your energetic field, or your electromagnetic field or your aura. And it's another way of saying that.
Are there any. Yeah, openings, holes, rips or tears in the energetic field. What about discarnate? Separates entities or attachments, any vortex or portal energies, mazes, looping, revolving doors. Let's clear and close all of that.
So openings, holds, ribs, tears in the energy field. That can come from extreme emotions, being really anxious, really depressed. It's kind of like a weakening of your energy field can happen if someone is drinking too much alcohol or maybe there's too much escapism going on. They might be using a substance or it could even be when someone is somehow weakening their energy field. Sometimes it can even be overindulgence. And food, where you just sort of feel drugged up from food, too much sugar, too much caffeine. So we're just going to release that and strengthen everyone's energy field.
And then I'm going to look at the lowest level of consciousness for anyone on my high self committee.
And then where's my soul? On behalf of Gabrielle's listeners.
And then lowest level of consciousness for anyone's high self committee. Everybody should be up there now.
And then listeners, souls, consciousness or level of awareness. So some of them are knocked down. So let's clear listeners through first dimensional energies. This is relating to matter, survival, physical existence.
Let's clear everyone relating to fourth dimensional energies, seventh dimensional energies, all the way up. And then let's clear any bleed over from other dimensions.
So what I'm hearing, first of all, is that for some of your listeners, they feel like they are standing between two different worlds. So some of them feel like there's a new Earth, a new frequency that's being created, and they're. They have one foot there, and they have one foot in sort of the old 3D planetary energy and really want to have this consciousness shift so that they can step fully into that new frequency, that higher frequency of Earth.
So let's do this, because what I'm hearing is a lot of your listeners experienced life in Atlantis or Lemuria or civilizations that fell.
So what am I clearing for listeners relating to this? Where they're feeling a shift in the collective consciousness?
But there may be programs that are getting activated relating to panic, anxiety, hardship, energies of wanting to isolate from others or isolate from groups. This is programming of doom and hardship. So let's release it.
What else relating to that? So I'm going to go to my new charts and I want to drill down a little bit more on these Atlantean programs. Let me go over here.
[00:56:59] Speaker A: Okay. Right.
[00:57:00] Speaker C: So let's clear any karmic guilt from being a part of the destruction of Atlantis.
Some of your listeners may not have been in physical body. They may have been guides for those who were in physical body or guides for the Earth.
And so we're just gonna release any of that karmic guilt. I wanna clear any programming, programming relating to the misuse of power, the misuse of technology, or the misuse of sacred knowledge.
Let's clear fear of one's own power after any perception that their power has been misused.
So any vows, contracts, agreements, or obligations that listeners are folding to be somewhat disconnected from their own power. Their. And so we would say your own skills, gifts, abilities, your own talents. Yeah, there are 3,341 lifetimes for the collective consciousness of your listeners where there's an energy of insecurity, anxiety, difficulty trusting oneself, wanting to stay fairly hidden or small in some way, and an energy of suffering. So let's clear all of that out now and then while we're still on this energy relating to Atlantis. I want to clear any betrayal wounds because of spiritual communities, whether that was Atlantean or whether that's current life.
And then let's clear and bring in any blocks to mastery of sacred technology, mastery of crystal science.
Let's bring in a healing where there has been a split between science and spirit.
And let's bring in healing and Energy, medicine, mastery. Let's bring in a DNA activation through sound and through crystal frequencies.
Anything else? So where does anyone in this community have a block to really stepping into their gifts, their talents, their abilities? Not now.
Where does anyone have a block to the confidence to move forward to work with clients?
Clear insecurity, clear abuse of self, and clear disappointment. So what I'm hearing is some listeners who may be working one on one with clients and they actually want to work more with groups and they're nervous about making the shift. And it could be the flip where some have started with groups and now they'd really like to position to doing one on ones. And so what are we clearing about that clear. Any energies of worry, insecurity overwhelm, any energies of hardship and any energies of guilt. Sometimes as healers or coaches, when we change what we're offering, we can get very anxious and almost feel like we're betraying the people that we've been working with. And so what I'm hearing to tell you is just know that it's not a betrayal. Sometimes fresh new clients or groups need to come in. And so as your frequency shifts, there may be some people who choose to work with someone else and then they'll come back or as your frequency shifts, you're going to attract in all new clients or new community. And that's perfect.
So let's clear insecurity around any of that.
So where does anyone in this community have a block to receiving money, income in exchange for their work?
Guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt. So for your community, if we look in the soul records, the akashic records of this community, the collective, how many vows, contracts, those agreements, obligations relating to poverty, relating to lack, relating to not being open or willing to receive money, income or things of value in exchange for their work. Okay, so here's the number.
220,000, 114. The unresolved energy is poverty, poverty, poverty, poverty. So that can be lack relating to money, but it can also just be kind of the spirit of poverty, guilt, worry, fearfulness, fear, being judged if you ask for money in exchange for your services. So let's take all of that burnet rubranch NC to infinity. Let's release it from everyone's akashic records, bodies and minds that make up their souls. Let's download everyone with the highest perspective, information, wisdom, light and understanding regarding money and what money is.
So many healers have had a lot of spiritual or religious lifetimes where they never had to provide for themselves. They may have been living in A monastery, a convent. Your clothing was provided, your food was provided, there was a roof over your head. And now here we are in this lifetime. It's like, what I have to do all of that, like, that's so weird. And money feels weird.
And so what do we need to change? Clear. Bring in around any of that.
Let's go to 18 clear beings of God consciousness level blocking programs and the conscious mind of one blocks from God over sun. Let's go to 16 clear blocks to freedom as it relates to money and income, recognition and prestige for security and resources. Let's clear blocks to confidence in receiving.
Clear blocks to abundance. Clear blocks to faith.
And Claire blocks to enthusiasm. So another way to reframe it or another way to think about it is, well, there are two things.
When someone gives you money in exchange for your healing work, there's going to be more value that they're going to associate with the work itself.
When we receive things for free, we're like, oh yeah, this is cool.
But when we have to pay for it, we will tend to place more value on it. Now, it doesn't mean you have to charge, you know, $7,000 a session, but there needs to be some kind of an exchange. The other thing that's important to remember is when someone gives you money or when they give you something of value in exchange for your healing, it signals to the subconscious mind something's happening.
This is important. There's an exchange. It means I'm receiving something because I've just given something away. And they will be far more open to receiving it for to actually work, to take it seriously.
So where else is there a block for anyone relating to receiving in exchange for their gifts?
Where is there a block to pricing allowing oneself to really, truly feel financially supported?
Where does anyone believe if they receive in exchange for their work, they should feel guilty?
Really, the way that I see it is, you know, in my sessions, I'm clearing sometimes hundreds of thousands of lifetimes worth of energy.
There's no real way for me to put a price on that. I mean, to me that some people, they would pay millions to have that stuff shifted. But where I live, where I am at this point in my career, there's a certain amount that feels congruent for me to receive in exchange for the work. So it's not that we're saying, well, this is what this work is worth and this is what her work is worth. It's about what do you need to do this work and feel as though you're truly taken care of and your survival needs are met.
And then what do you really need beyond that in order to really care for yourself? Because you're the instrument of the healing.
So we want to make sure that everyone is truly honoring not just their being, their inner being, but their physical body and their physical reality. So what do we need to clear bring in relating to that, bring in success.
Let's bring in love of self, energies of relaxation, manifestation and peace.
Where else does anyone have blocks to receiving self love, self care, knowing their own worth, their own value, seeing it and honoring self. Let's clear pre programming of spirit by God. What is the pre programming?
It's the energy of victimization and unworthiness, overwhelm and self punishment. Clear it all out now.
And then let's clear any vows, contracts as agreements or obligations of suffering.
One more thing. Some of your listeners have genetic lineage programming. So genetic lineage on mother side, there's a program of suffering and struggling in order to prove that you love the people around you. We're going to let that go. Because if it's love and you're giving love, you have to be included in the receiving of that love. So it's not giving to your own detriment. Let's clear self sabotage and let's clear rejection of self. And then we have genetic lineage on father side. This is an energy of poverty. There's a kind of a pride coming up through the genetic lineage relating to having less. And so we just want to release that. We want to honor our ancestors. We want to thank them, they've given us incredible gifts.
But we don't need to prove that we can get by on nothing. Like it makes me think of the old TV show MacGyver where he could like create something with just like a paper clip, right? And a piece of chewing gum. It's like we don't need to be MacGyver in our lives. And so what else around that?
Is there anything more to do? So our ancestors who, who had very little, they really did pass on, on a DNA level these gifts of resilience and perseverance and determination and cleverness and being able to make something from nothing.
And we can have those qualities, but we don't need to keep going with the lack. So what else do we need to Claire bring in for everyone? Let me just download some healing energies.
So let's download everyone with the energy of rose quartz. So unconditional love, heart opening, self worth healing. Particularly let's bring in Selenite. So angelic connection, Auric field clearing light Body activation.
And so for healers who feel like there's a block to differentiating between what's running or going on for the client, what's going on for them, what that essentially means is there's something that's happening with the client that's triggering their own stuff.
And so what do we need to Claire bring in relating to that? Let's Claire victimization. Is that how you're seeing it as well?
Okay. Frustration, clear energies of cruelty and clear energies of defeat.
So for me, that is usually a sign that I just need to work on that stuff for myself. It's like, okay, this is the feedback loop of life is bringing this to my attention. And now it's time for me to be proactive about it. It's a gift really, especially when there's wisdom or information or insight that comes through for the client. And sometimes you can benefit from that, but it's really a cue that it's time to go to your next level in your healing. So remember, we're never done. We are always evolving. And sometimes things can come up and we think we've healed everything and then we work on somebody and it's like, oh yeah, there's, there's another frontier that needs to be shifted. And so what are we clearing relating to that? Let's go to dimensional energies.
All right, which dimension are we going to to bring about a healing relating to all of this?
Am I going to affirmations. So let's download everyone with my presence is naturally stabilizing. I anchor light on earth with grace.
I have the long view wisdom of one who has witnessed many cycles of civilization. So we're kind of breaking things up and let me go back over here.
Download everyone with the ability to receive light codes.
Let's clear any overwhelm from any kind of sensitivity to those frequencies when they get activated or those programs when they get activated.
Let's clear any disconnection from the body while accessing any cosmic frequencies.
And then what else about feeling that triggered state from working with a client? Okay, let me go to trauma responses. Let's clear everyone's blocks to building internal safety.
There's an attitude that sometimes. And when I say attitude, I mean like a perspective or point of view that sometimes healers take that we should just be perfect and perfectly healed and know everything and just be like this beacon of calm and light. And the only way you're able to be that is if you're. You're working with your stuff.
And so to remember that, you know, your childhood Stuff you have your soul based stuff, you have ancestral lineage stuff. There's collective stuff. We live in a chaotic world that is quite rooted in a lot of trauma actually.
And so let's look at everyone's flight response for a minute. So we have fight flight, fawn and freeze. We're going to go to flight.
And so, you know, flight energy, somebody that has flight energy, they fear emotional overwhelm.
They fear failure. They fear being engulfed by another.
They fear this kind of internal emptiness that sometimes comes up. And so how did they deal with that in terms of a flight response is they may be constantly seeking achievement, be constantly seeking the next certification, the next certification, the next certification, have to constantly be in productivity. That's their version of flight.
Or constantly planning, constantly needing to plan or even just avoidance. So what we want to do is clear I can outrun pain.
I have to constantly stay ahead.
If I relax or if I get present to what's going on, something bad will happen.
Let's clear my worth comes from achievements.
I have to always be improving myself through another certification or another class.
So let's bring in stillness.
Stillness to feel clear. The fear of stillness. Clear Overworking, clear. Anxiety, clear chronic busyness.
Clear moving quickly from one thing to another in order to avoid the trigger.
What else am I doing in terms of the fawn response? So you know, fond response is where we have learned to create safety through pleasing, appeasing, merging with someone, caretaking, abandoning ourself. Meaning, oh, I don't want to upset anybody. I don't want to upset the apple cart by bringing up something that's bothering me. So I'm just going to brush it off. That's a really common one. So we would call that self abandonment.
So let's clear I will disappoint someone and lose love if I speak my truth.
Let's clear conflict leads to abandonment.
Let's clear the belief if someone sees that I'm triggered or if I see that I'm triggered, it means there's something wrong with me because that's not what it means. It means you're about to have a breakthrough.
Let's clear I have to be useful to be valued.
It's clear it's safer to suppress myself.
And then let's clear I am responsible for keeping peace.
Clear any place where anyone is shape shifting their identity to try to hide what needs to be healed even from themselves.
Let's clear conflict avoidance, hyper empathy over giving and difficulty saying no.
And so where does anyone have a block to instead of avoiding the Trigger going into it completely putting the client aside and focusing on self.
You don't. It's just shame. So let's clear shame around having a triggered response or getting triggered in a session and any blocks to someone being able to stay clear and neutral with their client, know that something's activated for them and then be able to finish the session, step away and work on themselves. Even if that means working with another healer to access your own blind spots. No one has a block. The biggest thing is the shame.
So let's just make sure that toxic shame is released at infinite depth levels and layers. And any place where anyone is gaslighting themselves or diminishing themselves because they feel shame, let's release that.
Anything else I need to clear bring for this community? Is there anything more to do? Is there anything left?
So let me do the mop up. Clear the nine stacks of additional charts. Held in spirit.
Does everyone's soul agree they're clear to programs high self agree Soul's been clear to the highest levels of the new paradigm. No programs coming up to be cleared. Souls are free. I want to thank everybody working with us, bringing forth light, releasing any darkness, limitation or fear. And so it is.
Thanks for letting me do that. So fun.
[01:17:02] Speaker A: It was fun to watch you and to know what's going out to everyone as well.
[01:17:06] Speaker C: Elevate, elevate the community.
[01:17:09] Speaker A: Thank you so much for your time today. I really appreciate it. And I was feeling lots of movement in that for me too. And it was interesting that Puppy Bear hadn't come in the whole time and then she come running in with me when we started.
[01:17:21] Speaker C: We loved it. That happens in my sessions all the time. By the way. I'll be working with the client and all of a sudden the animals descend upon us and.
[01:17:29] Speaker A: Yep.
